Bringing Science to the General Public

I have participated in outreach events such as Science and Suds at Los Angeles Ale Works Brewery, where I share my research with a broad audience and bring science into local communities.

Code/Astro Liason

I have served as a Code/Astro workshop liaison, helping undergraduate and graduate students learn coding skills, develop their own software, and release their work.

Bringing Science to Middle and Elementary Schools

I served as the lead facilitator for the Rising Stargirls workshop, a two-week program that teaches astronomy through the arts to underrepresented middle school girls.

Mentoring

I have served as a PACE leader, a program that supports first-year physics students in their transition to graduate school. I have also worked as an international peer mentor through the GIC program, helping newly admitted international students at UCI navigate the visa process. In addition, I have mentored UROP students as they begin their research journeys.

Outreach

My cousin, who holds a PhD in biophysics, and I gave Astronomy on Tap talks at Los Angeles Ale Works Brewery.

I was the lead facilitator for the Rising Stargirls workshop, guiding participants through hands-on astronomy activities.
